March Phone Photos

Another month come and gone, here's the best of the every day around the Rotman house!

This cutie just keeps growing up, despite our begging her not to!

These two love popcorn and movie days!

We got the class pet, Froggy, for another weekend and of course he had to be a mermaid!

They're so cute when they sleep!

We celebrated Anna Kate's birthday at school with super awesome doughnuts!

And then we visited Kindergarten!

Her favorite birthday gifts on her birthday- a Moana necklace and a My Little Pony reader!

We were going to go to the zoo for Anna Kate's actual birthday, but it was pretty cold out so we headed down to Bounce U in Charlotte since we had never been. I thought my wild child Madison would love it, but she really only liked the balloons.

Speaking of balloons... here is Madison loving on Anna Kate's giant 5 balloon. She may have cried big sad tears when she popped it.

Chef Madison and sleepy Madison :)

Chef Moana made us a banana pudding!

Another sleeping picture... but look at those piggies!

Madison loves playing the piano at Mrs. Maggie's house on Tuesdays!

Let the piggie tail-ing commence!

Easter egg hunt with our Sunday school class at church!

I would say they got into it!

Madison is really an important business woman in her spare time.

Visiting the Easter Bunny and first soccer game of the season! It sure is colder than last year when we did all of these things!

I love when they match, and even more when they act cute on their own when matching!

I found the Easter Bunny!

Dance Dance!

While you wait for me to update the blog for the month of March, here is an awesome recent video of Madison getting her dance on! She and Anna Kate love to twirl and dance, but Madison really gets into it when we play movie soundtracks. The girl definitely has more rhythm than her Mommy and Daddy and can move to the beat of the music. She is also singing along to songs, and occasionally will sing along to the chorus of songs after only hearing it once. She has always been a music baby and when she was a tiny infant, music is what soothed her the most so it is cool to see how that is growing along with her!

Now forgive me while I watch this video ten times a day to remind me of how cute she is when she isn't throwing a tantrum...

Anna Kate's 5th Birthday Party

For Anna Kate's fifth birthday party, we gave her a few options of places to go and she chose Alinos! If you don't know, Alinos is one of our favorite local pizza places and they put on a wonderful birthday party complete with decorating aprons and hats and making mini pizzas! Anna Kate and all of her little friends had a blast!

First, a semi-blurry photo of the birthday girl in her birthday dress made by Gigi next to her birthday balloons! Happy Pizza Pony Party!

Then the kids got to decorate aprons and chef hats so that they could prepare their pizzas!

So cute! Especially this little guy!

Gigi helped Madison get ready to make a pizza... but Madison ultimately decided that eating the already made pizza would be just fine with her!

How cute are these girls!

Ru didn't mind watching Madison while the party went on!

The cutest girls I ever did see!

Not posed. Anna Kate and Avery might like each other, just a little.

Time to make PIZZA!!

Experts.

This guy took the cake on the pizza making. He was the only one (and the only boy in general) to use up ALL of his cups of cheese, sausage, and pepperoni. True pro status.

Yummy!!

Pass the baby Madison!

And it is official! We have a five year old! Thank you to everyone who celebrated our girl from near and far! We love you all!

We ended the night with a couch-full of cuties!

Happy 5th Birthday, Anna Kate!!

A whole hand! They try to tell you how fast it goes, but all of a sudden we blasted through and now we have a five year old ready to go to Kindergarten! Where did the time go? We are so proud of our big girl, who is turning out to be the most kind, sweet, smart, silly little person. Some things about Anna Kate at age five:

-She LOVES her sister (and mom and dad).
-She also loves My Little Ponies and Moana. A lot.
-She started gymnastics this year and loves it.
-She can read simple books and some level one books.
-She loves to practice writing and making lists, and can write her name properly.
-She can swing by herself and is still working on learning to ride a bike.
-She is becoming very independent and helpful, she feeds the dog and makes her bed daily along with other helpful jobs.
-She loves a good knock-knock joke, even if she doesn't get it.

There is so much we could write about our big girl, but here are some pictures taken on her birthday as well as a few from years past to reminisce...

FIVE!
