First up, Discovery Place Kids
This kid is fearless. For some reason they have a piece of Plexiglas that leans out over the bottom floor. Madison had no worries trying to climb on it.
I think we played in every room this trip. Madison did enjoy herself, contrary to the fact she is not smiling in a single photo.
I would like to call this series, "toddler driving, serious business."
AK, on the other hand, was all smiles! I think she misses taking adventures since she is in preschool in the mornings and we are nap trapped in the afternoons.
Next up, Discovery Place! We had not been down to DP since the Monday after Carter was born when Gigi and I took the little girls to play since Carter bear was in NICU. It was great to see Anna Kate explore the exhibits and learn and understand things!
Air blowing is a magical thing!
Checking out the bears... RAR!
This was a popular spot for the kids and grown ups. As you moved the sand, the topography map changed to show the different levels, and there were even "fish" swimming around!
The aquarium was a big hit for everyone! I am excited to be able to go visit here more often, and a big part is to see this exhibit! So fun!
Jelly fish!
A blurry photo, and not exactly proof, but Anna Kate TOUCHED THE SNAKE.
Tiny explorers!
Laying on a bed of nails. I promise she isn't crying. Just covering her eyes, haha.
Whooooooooooo
This area was a favorite. You put the scraps of newspaper in the tube and it shot them out of the top!
Uncle Mark lost in tug of war with the big girls ;)
Our three Mona Lisas! Also, Madison did climb up there, by herself. But I had Avery spot her so I could take a photo!
The tiny ones in the big city!
When did these girls start looking so big?!
