August Phone Photos

August was a busy month, with a beach trip and getting ready for school to start! Here is what we did in the middle of all the excitement!

On Tuesdays, we go to play dates. Look at these cuties ready for a snack!

So excited to wear her camp t-shirt to bed and sleep on her soccer pillow that her big friend Madi made her!

Another day, another catch! A millipede! We named him Milli-Pete!

Family Beach Trip!

The past couple years we have been lucky enough to spend a week in August at Bar-Bar's beach house in Ocean Isle with the whole family. This year was no exception and we had a blast! The kids played hard, ate way too much sugar, and even got to see the eclipse (except Madison who slept through the whole thing).

Madison mostly enjoyed her first mobile beach trip- she loved riding the boogey board and letting the waves hit her in the face!

Gigi and the sand were fairly popular attractions while on the beach

Anna Kate hardly stood still long enough for me to take her photo, she was too busy playing! She did pitch in a few times and carried her own chair... though I have no evidence that she actually sat down...

Uncle David was, as usual, a big hit. Especially when he caught crabs and let the kids close enough to touch them!

Madison was going through some digestive issues while we were at the beach and couldn't make it through this particular morning!

Gigi brought plenty of activities for down time for the kids. The big girls enjoyed crafts while the littles really enjoyed punch balloons!
