September Phone Photos

In September we started back to school, celebrated birthdays, and did all sorts of late summer activities... here are the highlights!

Anna Kate did an awesome job knee boarding behind the jet ski with Daddy!

The kids did some cute stuff around the house, like love on each other and Emma... and Madison started earning her keep.

This month Madison learned that stools are very useful for accessing all of the things that people had previously hid from her.

We were the lucky recipients of the class pet, Stella. Stella went to Greensboro to visit...

...to Anna Kate's first soccer game, and to the mountains for a CCF reunion.

Of course, frogs were caught... by the handfuls apparently.

Anna Kate worked on her fitness.

I caught the girls reading together on several occasions!

Madison learned that she loves electric toothbrushes...

and that she really loves to brush her teeth with her sister who is wearing seasonally inappropriate fleece footy pajamas.

Lots of soccer was watched and played. September was fun!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Happy Birthday, Daddy! For Mark's birthday we went to the zoo! It has become an (almost) annual tradition, and now that we are members of the Asheboro zoo, it is the gift that keeps on giving! September is a perfect time to visit the zoo, so I am sure we will be seeing animals for years to come for Daddy's birthday! Here are some pictures of our little crew!

Climbing on Daddy was the sport of the day. Had to make him feel loved, right!?

Both little girls enjoyed the pit stops to play that the Asheboro Zoo offers.

Madison was too impressed with this large bear statue to be bothered for a photo.

Madison was especially enthralled with the displays with a glass wall at her level. On the left, the ocelots were very active and playing and she thought it was hilarious! She also really enjoyed the seals swimming by and playing.

First Day of School!

After Labor Day, Anna Kate headed back to school for her last year of preschool! She was pretty excited and ready to see her friends and new teachers. Madison, on the other hand, was a little sad to lose her buddy (or she just wanted to be picked up..)
