"It Makes Me Dance"

So, in all of my Disney posts, I forgot to share this perfect little story...

Before Gigi and Ru arrived with a van full of real food, we were subject to Disney food and Disney prices. Needless to say, we didn't splurge on too many extra things, since they were mostly unappetizing and expensive (to us, we can only eat so many cheeseburgers, mac and cheese, etc without wanting some chicken and veggies). While in Epcot, we ran across the free Coke tasting "Club Cool". Anna Kate hasn't had too many sodas in her life (as in no sodas except maybe a sip or two of someone elses) but she was game to try whatever we would hand her in the little cups. She tried a few, and decided she really liked the pineapple soda from South America. She then declared, "I like this, it makes me dance!" and proceeded to dance around the exhibit. Since she is usually fairly introverted in public spaces, she had Mark and I cracking up as she danced around. We then, of course, had to make her reenact the experience so we could get it on video to remember forever..

Another funny story in the same location- when we came back to Epcot with Gigi, Ru, and Avery, we hit up Club Cool again. Anna Kate, once again, declared after one sip that the pineapple soda "makes her dance" and showed off her sweet moves and some hopping. Avery, on the other hand, declared after two tries "I don't like this game" and was done with taste testing sodas.

Disney! Day Six and Eight: Magic Kingdom!

We spent our two other days in Disney at the Magic Kingdom. On day six, we even came back to the hotel and took a break (mostly for AK, still under the weather) and came back for the electrical parade and fireworks! We spent our time catching some of the rides we had missed on day four and in general doing whatever the little girls wanted to do that didn't involve too much of a wait.

Day six was especially special, as we were able to attend a princess breakfast at the Royal Table inside Cinderella's castle! The girls dressed in their matching pink dresses (continuing confusion on their supposed sisterhood) and were super excited all morning. Even with a little fever, AK was running around in circles she was so excited. Disney magic, I tell you.

Thank you Gigi and Ru for a wonderful trip!!

My favorite princesses!

One excited little girl!

Make that two excited little girls. Avery even got in on the "I'm so excited I need to jump!".

We tried to get a photo together...

Cinderella! The best!

All of the pictures of Anna Kate smiling with Cinderella were blurry. Because she couldn't stand still.

This one makes me laugh. AK was eating breakfast. Who has time for princesses?

Avery: "Guys! It's Snow White!"
AK: "Can I eat my bacon now?"

Aurora, Ariel, and Jasmine.

Cutest princesses on the carousel.

Posing with King Triton. Or Trident, according to Avery. I'm not sure.

Back on Dumbo while Ru and Avery rode the Barnstormer. If you ask Anna Kate about Disney, she will tell you how much she did not like the Barnstormer.

No, they aren't tired at all...

Magical!

Day Eight was a half day, as we left around nap time to start our trip home.
Teacups. I happily sat out!

My ride buddy...

Dumbo... Again!

Magic Carpets allowed three, so I got both of my girls!

This picture is out of place, but me pushing my girls! Anna Kate had one really weird "toddler thing"... she insisted that I push the stroller.. yay.

Also out of place, DUMBO!

Disney! Day Five & Seven: Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, & Epcot!

I'm going to skip around a little bit in my days so that there aren't fifteen Disney posts. Just fourteen. I kid. There will still be more. We took a lot of pictures.

Day five was spent in Animal Kingdom. Anna Kate and I didn't accomplish much, as she was still fighting her fever, and actually fell asleep in the stroller as we walked out around lunch time for me to take her back to the hotel. That shows how bad she felt, as I am pretty sure she hasn't slept in the stroller since she was about three months old. After lugging her back to the room, she slept until about 5:30pm, woke up for dinner and a bath, and was back in bed around 7:30. We paid for her sleeping so much when she woke up around 5 the next morning though, haha.

Anna Kate will tell you all about how Minnie gives hugs AND kisses!

Avery getting an autograph calmly.

Yet another photo of Anna Kate jumping. And Avery smiling politely.

As good as it gets. Haha.

Watching the Lion King! AK tried to fall asleep here too, but there was too much going on!

Day seven was very busy, as we did both Hollywood Studios and Epcot. We saw a lot of shows and rode a Toy Story ride we had missed the first time we were in Hollywood Studios. The girls enjoyed the aquarium, characters, and various things we did in Epcot as well. AK was still slightly under the weather, but perked up when it was time to get out of the stroller!

Avery was my ride buddy!

Not such a great photo, but these girls are so sweet! They both wanted to buy one of these "baby Mickey/Minnie" dolls for their "babies". We talked Avery into something a little more age appropriate for Carter.

"Girls, show us your 'Excited for Epcot' faces..." HA

PLUTO!

MINNIE MOUSE!

Group photo with the surprise characters!

Checking out the fishes!

Cute girls with creepy eels!

Chip and Dale!
Funny story- a few days earlier, AK ran into Chip and Dale as they headed to their assigned meet and greet spot and they tickled her. After they walked away, she said, "Momma! I saw some squirrels!"

Watching the water jump with Ru!

Finally! A place where you are supposed to jump! When you jumped on each pad it played a musical instrument. Anna would have run around for as long as her little legs would have let her.

Disney! Day Four: Magic Kingdom

Avery, Gigi and Ru arrived the night prior, so on this day we headed to Magic Kingdom again since it is the most fun for the little girls! Mark immediately headed to catch some big kid rides and we spent the day doing whatever the girls wanted to do. Some highlights include Gigi bringing food that wasn't mass prepared in Disney (we were done with the food!), Avery begging Uncle Mark to take her on the teacups... and Mark was the one who ended up green, Avery and Anna consistently being asked if they were sisters (especially by Princess Anna and Queen Elsa) and they both always answered "YES!", and Mark taking me out for a surprise birthday dinner (happily not at Disney!). We ended the day with a bang... as in Anna Kate woke up in the middle of the night with a fever of 102.5. So this post has a lot of photos, the next few won't have quite as many since Mommy was busy keeping a sick tired little one balanced.

Attempting a family photo while we had someone to take them. Little Rotman was not a happy participant...

Except when it came to taking adorable photos with her BFF Cousin Avery (Avery's words... they are BFF, and that means best friends forever)

I guess I can see the sister thing... since they look alike, have the same shoes, and we accidentally dressed them similar.. Which by the way, being pregnant you get a lot of looks pushing these two around who don't look the two years apart they are.

Ready for Anna's favorite... DUMBO!

Wahooooooo

One of Avery's favorites, Under the Sea!

These two are pretty adorable.

AK hadn't been on the Winnie the Pooh ride yet, so she couldn't peel her eyes away for a group photo.

Driving Daddy!

Avery took Gigi for a ride, and from what I understand, I was lucky to not be driven by preschoolers, haha.

Avery and Uncle Mark going for a nauseating spin!

Despite not liking the teacups with Daddy the first time, Anna Kate drug Gigi on them after watching Daddy and Avery. She then decided they were okay!

With Princess Anna... not included: Photos of Anna hopping around and Princess Anna trying to wrangle her for a picture.

And with Elsa. This time Mommy had to be included too.

This picture cracks me up. Anna Kate has no idea why she is pulling on that sword, but she is giving it her all!

Magic Carpets! Another "Dumbo-like" ride.

And with Tinkerbell!

Trying on silly hats! This became Anna's favorite thing to do when in a gift shop, although I refused to let her buy a hat since she would never wear it at home or anywhere in general...
