Spoiled Rotman: Madison Leigh, 9 Months

Nine months! Madison has made all sorts of leaps and jumps this month. Maybe next month she will actually leap and jump. You know, since she is really speeding up on the mobility. This month, Madison went from a slow scoot to a full crawl and learned to pull up on anything and everything. She has taken a few cruising steps, but only one or two at a time. She continued to say, "Mama and Dada" and has added "Bye" to her vocabulary with the cutest little "wave". She won't do that on command very well yet, but has done it frequently enough on the changing table that I caught it on camera.

It is so amazing watching her progress through these stages so quickly since she has Anna Kate to watch and emulate. At her nine month appointment they asked, "is she copying noises and sounds?"... yes. If Anna Kate laughs, she laughs, if she screams, she screams, if AK cries, she laughs. Not kidding on that last one, she is going to be a terror. Speaking of Anna Kate, they are the bestest of friends. Nine times out of ten, Anna will get her a toy if she needs it or try to make her smile if she is crying. She always wants her sister to play with her in the playroom and loves to chat with her.

At Madison's 9 month appointment she proved to still be a little squirt, but is pretty consistently staying on the same growth curve, so at least there is nothing to be worried about! Also, with how active she is, it isn't shocking that she isn't packing on the pounds.

Weight: 15lb 10.6oz, 11th percentile (up about 2lb in 3 mo)

BMI: 14.1, 2nd percentile
