43 Weeks!

Week 43 was very similar to week 42 in terms of activities and development.. both were crazy! We traveled to Ballantyne on New Years day (adorable post to come) and visited some friends here and there throughout the week. Christmas break is the most convenient time to see friends when most of them are teachers!

Developmentally, Anna Kate is practically only interested in pulling up. She is working on cruising with little movements side to side, but the only one object to another is when she moves from furniture to mommy. Speaking of mommy, after the holidays Anna Kate seems to be developing a little separation anxiety. We first wrote it off as a little post-Christmas clingy, but we have a stage 5 clinger on our hands as soon as she is tired, hurt, or cranky. Food-wise, we are making strides on finger foods and she can now eat almost a whole banana by hand on her own.
