The highlights of our trip included: having professional photos made of the family, an inflatable boat, Mark renting a surfboard, and just general days filled with sun, sand, and lots of Gigi cooking. We will choose to forget the many tantrums and meltdowns, because of all of these pretty pictures... which are in no order at all because Picassa and Google are killing me today.

We also got the chance to visit some of Robert and Laura's friends at their pool. It was Maddie's first time in a pool. I promise both girls were happier than they appear.

It only took us most of the week, but we finally figured out that Maddie was happiest in a sand "bumbo" seat, and then after this, in only a diaper.
Yargh! Ready to go! But not. This wild boy wanted nothing to do with a boat ride in the ocean.
No one is crying! Per usual, only Avery is smiling. And no one is looking at the camera.
