Lake Living

So after five days at the beach and a long car ride, we arrived at our family lake house to spend a long weekend vacation with the Marshall side of the family. It is rare we are all able to get together at the same time, with work schedules, football games, and the fact that we live in four different cities, so it is always nice to spend time together as a family like we used to... although it is much more comfortable than the days of the trailer with one bathroom!

Once again, toddler and infant schedules collided and there was a balance of who is going to the lake, who is staying at the house, and how much crying there was going to be at either place. But, we made it enjoyable, and by the end of the trip, we had two completely exhausted little girls who had a blast. We also had four exhausted parents, two tired grandparents not ready for the little ones to leave, and one uncle who was endlessly entertaining that drove off smiling because he could spoil the little ones and go home.
