Spoiled Rotman: 9 Months!

So Tuesday, one day after her nine month birthday, Anna Kate headed back to the doctor (we were just there Friday) for her nine month appointment. For the second time, she was given the male nurse, which you can guess how that went- lots of tears if he got too close. I think the female nurses just think it is funny. Especially when a female nurse took her hemoglobin and she smiled at her after being pricked.

Her stats for the month were: weight 16lbs 15oz in the 30th percentile, height 28.5 inches in the 81st percentile, head 17.01 inches in the 34th percentile, with a whopping BMI of 14.7. The girl is definitely taking after Daddy in the growth department!

This month, Anna Kate is a crawling machine (a little more traditional, less army), is very proud of herself that she can sit up completely on her own, and is beginning to pull up on things and get into trouble. She loves to eat finger foods, and can easily down 3 ounces of purees with a half ounce of cheese, an ounce of sweet potato (eaten by hand), along with a half piece of bread or a whole can of puffs. Just kidding on the whole can of puffs. She would if she was allowed. She is a little more picky on what finger foods she is willing to eat, even if she loves them puréed. Despite being super tall, she still wears 9 month pajamas, but with her cloth diapers will be out of them soon. She has her two bottom teeth (one just popped through) and according to the doctor is working on her top two. I can't honestly say how difficult of a teether she is because she has been sick both times a tooth has come in.

She refused to smile for her 9 month pictures... mainly because every time I set her there she crawled away. These pictures were way easier when she didn't move!
