Traveling!

Over the past six days, Anna Kate has become quite the traveler (that must be why she slept 14 hours in her own bed last night and is napping again). Over that time we traveled in one stroller, three cars, and four airplanes, stopping in six cities plus, visiting four grandparents, two great grandparents, five aunts and uncles, one first cousin, and too many friends, great aunts and uncles and second and third cousins to count. We (not Anna Kate so much) ate lots of turkey, had many wonderful conversations and hugs, and now have a lot of unpacking and laundry to do.

Thank you to everyone in Michigan for all of your help and accommodations so that we were able to visit and enjoy Anna Kate's first Thanksgiving (and thank you Mom and Dad for keeping the beagles!).

Here are some pictures of the little miss and her first airplane adventure- she did wonderful! And there were so many helpful people along the way to make sure that Anna Kate and I made it safely and happily- luckily we don't have any rude fellow passenger stories, only good ones!

Mommy's little travel companion being SUCH a good girl. There was very little fussing out of her, even after five hard days in Michigan!

We took advantage of the moving sidewalks. Mommy packed WAY too much to have a layover. All of the nice people probably had to do with them pitying me and all of this you see. I also was wearing a backpack!

This is one of two thirty minute naps (one there and one back) that Anna Kate took in our eight + hours of air travel. On Tuesday, on the way to Michigan she didn't sleep from 10AM to 5:30PM!
