Just Boatin'

So along with our trip to the farm over the weekend, we also headed to Charlotte to celebrate Uncle Robert's birthday! Anna Kate gave him the best present ever... she was walking around, laughing at Charger I'm sure, and ran into Uncle Rob's legs. She got a little upset and let him pick her up, hold her, and even cuddled his shoulder! Here's to hoping her fear of men is on its way out! She also did not cry at any of Robert's male friends, although none of them got terribly close. We shall see..  Oh, and we didn't really take any photos. Here is a cute iPhone photo of Laura's of Avery giving Anna a kiss.

We also went to the lake with Richard and Shanda over the weekend. It was fairly overcast, which was nice if only to not worry about Anna getting burnt. We ended up cruising around, since it was a little chilly to wakeboard and we were all in a sleepy mood. Anna and I did get in the water to play for a little while, and she is really warming up to water after a few times in the lake and Nanny and Paw's pool. We were proud of our girl for being on a boat for several hours and not getting terribly fussy! Which could have been due to the fact she was getting sick and didn't have as much energy to burn...
