Anna was able to participate in three different Easter egg hunts over the week before Easter. I wasn't sure how she would do (she didn't do any last year) and she shocked me when she was a total egg shark at her first hunt. She was only supposed to get about five eggs (it was a small hunt with my mom's group) and I kept having to reach in her basket and throw them back out. Then she figured out that there were candy and prizes inside the eggs and it was all over with. She had to open every egg, and truly believed she should eat every piece of candy inside them all at once. Luckily she isn't so strong willed yet that she couldn't be redirected. When we played "egg hunt" in the yard with her new and empty eggs she would run around the yard picking them up and opening them one at a time, followed by, "no candies". Poor girl is going to be so disappointed this week when there are no eggs to hunt... we may just have to play egg hunt a few times for fun..

Looking ready to take on some kids for the goodies in their Easter baskets... tough chick.
Oh, and we saw the Mooresville police officers, so they came over and gave the kids Junior Officer stickers. Anna was only interested in them because they said "sticker".
"Mom! This one is empty!"
