6 Months Old!

Yesterday, Anna Kate turned 6 months old! To celebrate, we headed to the doctor for some measurements and shots... and they told us we could give her cake! Well, no, not really but I was told to move her to three solid feedings a day because she is a skinny baby and could use the extra calories!

Her stats for 6 months were:
27 inches long, in the 88th percentile
15lbs 5oz, in the 36th percentile
17 inch circumference head, in the 76th percentile
14.76 BMI

Her month six developmental milestones were all on target- doing baby push-ups, bearing weight on her legs when held standing, blowing raspberries, sitting unassisted, grasping and bringing things to her mouth... etc. We didn't have much to talk about except her food and calories because it was quite the surprise (to me) that she had only gained one pound since four months when she was 14lbs 5oz and in the 75th percentile for weight.

Being six months old is awesome.
