Christmas 2014: Part 4

Our last family Christmas event was on the Saturday after Christmas. That's right, we rolled through four Christmases in three days. I was beginning to worry that Anna might not understand that we don't see lots of people, eat lots of food, and open presents every day, but she has coped. Might have something to do with all of the toys and things she has to play with these days.

We had the Rotman crew over on Saturday for some of Mark's homemade pizza and some family time. Anna thoroughly enjoyed having everyone over at her house and even played well with her uncles! She was spoiled again, and immediately found the Red Ryder tricycle from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Ben and insisted on a ride. When we opened gifts, she enjoyed playing with each item (and insisted it be opened) before moving on to opening another.

She loved her shopping cart Uncle Ben picked out- she even let him play with it some.

Anna went "shopping" out of the pantry. Corn soup looked like a good pick.

Opening Christmas gifts with Nana!

Uncle Scottie was the go-to every time Anna wanted something opened. Something about those Uncles- they are the best at getting packages open!

Anna was very picky about what was allowed in her shopping cart. Grandpa kept putting the veggies in and Anna would throw them out!

This gave everyone a good laugh. Anna toted around the onion and carrot all evening!

I had to share this one. You don't think she loved being the center of attention, do you?

If only this had side effects. Anna thought Uncle Scottie was hilarious!
