So, as promised, here is more on the Lazy Five trip. After all of our morning events, we got in the car and headed into the ranch. If you aren't familiar with Lazy Five, they have tons of acres with a road you drive through. On this land, they have all sorts of animals- zebras, yak, giraffes, various "cow-like" animals (they aren't cows), emu, ostrich, deer... all sorts of things. We let Anna sit on our lap as we drove about 2 miles per hour through the ranch. At first, she was thrilled. Then, within 200 yards, a large large animal took our bucket of food (like the actual bucket, he just pulled it out of my hand) and poured it all over himself munching away. This was followed by some of the large horned cows trying to stick their heads in the windows... Anna became a little timid after that and kept muttering about "took bucket", "sad", "all gone", "no cow, no cow". We still had a good time and enjoyed seeing lots of animals. I've been begging Mark to take me here since we got married, so I was a super happy camper!
