Yard Fun

As I mentioned in my Five on Friday, Anna Kate has been loving playing outside. We don't have too many outdoor toys, as she is just getting to the age where she is able to do some things, but as it turns out she doesn't need any! Just like the baby loves the box more than the toy, she loves the bushes, mulch, and dirt more than having toys right now!

One adorable thing to note is that she has figured out how to "throw" the ball for Emma. Sure, it usually goes about one foot... or less, and I end up throwing it so that Emma will actually fetch, but it is adorable nonetheless. They are going to be great buddies someday!

And now, for some adorable mulch throwing. This is one of Anna Kate's new favorite games, no matter what section of the yard we are in. On the plus side, I have discovered that a toothbrush is a great way to get dirt out from under her nails and cuticles. Daddy will have to get it out of the drain.
