18 Weeks/4 Months!

Week 18 was full of many things, I am sure, but mainly what I remember is... sleeping! Coming off of vacation, we were sure that week 18 was going to take a while to get back into the swing of things for Anna Kate. The first night we were back at home, she continued to enjoy her new talent of rolling over and waking up every hour or so. Then, miraculously, she slept 12 hours to celebrate her four month birthday! And then repeated it for four nights in a row! Naps are another story, but I'll take the long nights of sleep!

In other news, it won't be long before Anna Kate is rolling from back to front. She has become quite good at getting onto her side in both directions, and often can wiggle herself around to get what she wants. She is also doing well grasping things with two hands. You can hold out a favorite toy, and she will slowly reach out with both hands to bring it back to her mouth to check it out.

Update! Anna Kate had her four month checkup Tuesday. She weighed in at 14lbs 5oz (75th percentile) and measured 25.5 inches (85th percentile)! She is growing like a weed!
