Everyday Events

So, I am well aware that not everyone who reads this blog wants an update on every minute detail of Anna Kate's life. You would fall into the "not a Grandparent" crowd. But some of you care about the little things, and it helps me not have to tell the same story 500 times. You would fall into the "Grandparent, Wanna be Grandparent, Anna Kate fan-club". Oh, and this is my blog, so I'm going to write about whatever I take pictures of...

Without further ado... Anna Kate got bumpers on her crib (they are mesh and breathable, SIDS police). The bumpers are a welcome addition after a long night of a fussy baby who kept sticking her arms, elbows, and legs through the crib slats. Not that I (Sara) wasn't cute with a broken arm as a baby, but unless Anna can jump out of her crib like Mommy, we don't want to repeat history. The bumpers were promptly put on after moving her all night and then coming in to get her for the morning and her arm is completely through the slats, with a lovely impression of a crib slat on her face. Woof.

I am supposed to be taking a nap...

Our next minute detail... Anna Kate loves TV! Which, is obviously not great for an infant, so we live most of the day without the TV on (no big deal) because Anna will almost break her neck to get a glimpse. Anna's best bud Paxton lent her a Baby Babble DVD, and this is her enjoying the program. When Mark got home, he was not thrilled she was being such a couch potato :)

Finally... they let me watch this thing!
