Feeding the Dogs

Feeding Bailey and Emma is usually Mark's job, ever since the first week at home with Anna Kate when they were in their crate until almost 10AM because Anna Kate, Mommy, and Gigi were zombies. Mark usually gets them up, feeds them, and leaves them outside until Anna Kate and I are up for the day. Sunday night, Mark was gone from the house around dinner time for Bailey and Emma. So I decided to prop Anna Kate up in her Bumbo seat on the floor to watch her pups eat, and she loved it!

"Mom, Emma doesn't stay still very long.."

Emma is way more interesting to watch.

Anna Kate is giving Bailey the "You better eat or Mama's gonna take that food away" look.

"See, Mom, I am good at this job! Bailey is eating!"

For those that don't know the joy of our weird beagles, Emma is very skittish and will "hoover" some food, take it to the living room and eat it on the carpet there. Bailey has to wait for Emma to finish her food before she will start on hers. It's a process. Mark is very happy to hand this job over to Anna Kate, as it can be frustrating at 5:00 AM.
